2024: MALDIVES TRIPS TO THE NORTHERN ATOLLS
I am very pleased to offer our current and future fly angling guests the option of one of five 10-night live-aboard hosted trips to the northern atolls of the Maldives for the 2024 prime fishing season.
I have has been exploring and hosting trips to the Maldives since 2008 and I can confidently say that you that as your host, I will take you to some of the best flats and surf zone locations where you can sight cast to huge GTs, bluefin trevally, triggers, bonefish permit and a variety of other species.
The trips all coincide with the best tides and fly fishing season and will be aboard the very comfortable traditional dhoni, Gahaa, a boat and crew that I have worked with for past twelve years.
The boat has four cabins which can accommodate a minimum of four and a maximum of six guests.
The following trip accommodation options are available:
- Trips limited to four only guests: All with single cabins: Cost: $5800pp
- Trips with five guests: 3 guests with in single cabins: Cost $5300pp + 2 guests in a shared cabin: Cost $4800pp
- Trips with a maximum of 6 guests: 2 guests in single cabins @ Cost $5100 + 4 guests in 2 shared cabins @ Cost $4700pp

*OUR BOOKING POLICY
- To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit (read with cancellation policy below)
- The final payment is due 35 days prior to departure
- The final cost for single or shared accommodation for any of the above trips will only be finalised 40 days prior to the start of that trip depending of the number of confirmed reservations at that point in time.
*OUR GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY
- A minimum of 4 pax are require for a trip to go ahead. Once a minimum of 4 pax have been confirmed the final payment becomes due and non-refundable 35 days prior to departure.
- Ufudu Fly Fishing Safaris has the right to cancel the trip 90 days from the start of the trip if less than 4 pax less are confirmed and will refund all deposits paid to date.
- A monthly update of confirmed bookings will be sent to clients who have paid their deposits.

THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION POLICY HAS BEEN AGREED TO BETWEEN UFUDU FLY FISHING AND IT’S SUPLIERS IN THE MALDIVES AND IS APPLICABLE TO OUR 2024 TRIPS TO THE MALDIVES AND SPECIFIC ONLY TO COVID 19.
- THE CANCELLATION POLICY REFERED TO IS WITH REFERENCE TO CANCELLATIONS THAT ARE AS A RESULT OF COVID 19 RELATED REASONS ONLY
- CANCELLATION 14- 04 DAYS PRIOR TO DATE OF ARRIVAL- 25% DEDUCTION OF COST OF THE TOTAL STAY
- CANCELLATION 03 – 00 DAYS PRIOR TO DATE OF ARRIVAL WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE COST OF THE STAY
- IF CANCELLATION IS MADE 15 DAYS PRIOR TO DATE OF ARRIVAL FUNDS WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL OR THEY CAN CHANGE TO A TRIP ON A LATER DATE.
- NB. IF ONE OR TWO ANGLERS ON A TRIP WITH SIX ANGLERS CANCELS THEIR TRIP ONE DAY BEFORE THE START OF THE TRIP DUE TO BEING COVID POSITIVE, AND PROVIDED THE TRIP GOES AHEAD, (A MINIMUM OF FOUR PAX CONSTITUTES A TRIP) THEY WILL BE REFUNDED THEIR MONIES IN FULL.
- WITH REGARDS THE CANCELLATION OF INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS, PLEASE GET YOUR TRAVEL AGENT TO CONFIRM THE POLICY DETAILS OF THE RELAVANT AIRLINE AND TO ARRANGE FOR THE MOST APPROPRIATE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER YOU FROM ANY LOSS.
